The Southwest Virtual Airlines New Pilot Orientation introduces new pilots to essential aspects of their role. The program covers LUVCARS installation and operation, Interactive Co-Pilot setup, and a review of the airline's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Pilots will also learn the steps required to advance to Second Officer and receive an overview of key SVA policies and procedures. Additionally, the orientation includes basic training on 737 aircraft operations, ensuring pilots are fully prepared for virtual flight within the SVA system. If you are new, welcome! Whether you are new to SVA, returning, or just want a refresh on policies and procedures, this is for you! This is a program designed to support pilots' success and growth in the airline.
